1. Introduction

Welcome to Sensei Chess! This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you and Sensei Chess, LLC ("Sensei Chess," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our AI-powered chess coaching platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.

2. Account Registration and Use

Users must be at least 13 years old or have parental consent to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Services and Content

Sensei Chess provides personalized chess coaching, game analysis, and AI-driven insights. All generated content and training modules are the intellectual property of Sensei Chess, LLC.

4. Subscription and Payment

Our platform offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period.

For users located in India, payments and subscription management are handled by Paddle. Users in India may request a full refund provided that the refund request is submitted within fourteen (14) days of purchase by sending an email to [email protected]. Access to the service will terminate at the time the refund is processed.

5. Privacy Policy and Data Collection

We collect and process user data such as game histories to improve your experience. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how your data is handled.

6. User Conduct

Users are expected to maintain respectful conduct on the platform. Any abusive, illegal, or disruptive behavior may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sensei Chess, LLC provides its services "as is" without warranties. Sensei Chess, LLC is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of our services.

8. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration. Users agree to waive their rights to pursue class-action lawsuits.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware, and the parties hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein. For users outside the United States, you agree that disputes will be governed by Delaware law and resolved in courts located in Delaware, to the extent permitted by your local law.

10. Termination of Service

Sensei Chess, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account for violation of this Agreement.

11. Amendments and Modifications

We may amend this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the platform following updates will indicate your acceptance of the revised terms.
